n бухг., ауд. аудитор; бухгалтер-ревізор; ревізор; pl аудиторські організації; аудиторські фірми; a аудиторський; ревізорський; ревізійний кваліфікований спеціаліст з бухгалтерського обліку (accounting), який проводить аудиторську перевірку (audit¹) фінансово-господарської діяльності організації; ♦ є дві головні категорії аудиторів: зовнішні (external auditor) незалежні аудитори, які не є працівниками підприємства, на якому проводиться аудит, мають ліцензію на проведення аудиту чи є службовцями соціальної аудиторської фірми; і внутрішні аудитори (internal auditor), які є працівниками (employee) підприємства і виконують функцію внутрішньогосподарського контролю, проводячи внутрішню ревізію (internal audit)
